Dino is currently the Assistant Coach at the University of Lethbridge. In addition to coaching Dino is a scout for the Tri-CityAmericans of the WHL. Dino also serves as the Head Western League Scout for International Scouting Services.
Noel has been the New Jersey Colonials Director of Coaching for 14 years. He was also a member of the Atlantic District USA hockey staff from 2002-2008, and won AYHL championships for five consecutive years from 2006-2010. He played two seasons of pro hockey for Sweeden Ik Skaret and If Husums, as well as with the Nashville Nighthawks (CHL) and Reno Renegades. This will be Noel's 2nd visit to the Desert after capturing Gold in 2016 with his 2003 squad.
Mark Gordon has coached hockey for 20+ years, including the 2004 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament Champion Arizona Bobcats. He earned his Master Level 5 USA Hockey Coaching Certification and is currently coaching the Arizona Bobcats Elite AAA program at their Bantam Major and Pee-Wee Major levels. He also owns/operates the AZ Sports Academy training pro and youth athletes.
Mike coached Team North America in the inaugural Desert Cup and Team Can-Am 2001 in 2015. The General Manager of the Peterborough Petes since 2012, Mike joined the Petes as the Manager of Player Personnel in April 2010 and most recently lead the team to its first East Division championship and Eastern Conference Finals appearance since 2006. He worked with International Scouting Services (ISS) as Chief Scout and was promoted to the position of General Manager/Chief Scout in September of 2008. Mike also held the roles of Director of Player Personnel and Assistant Coach with the Oshawa Generals from 2004-2006.
This will be Geoff's third trip to the Desert Cup, having been on board since the first event in 2014. Geoff has coached the Mississauga Rebels for numerous years capturing the OHL Cup with his 1996 age group as well as his 2000 team this past March. Geoff played college hockey at UMASS Lowell for four seasons. Geoff also coaches the Georgetown Raiders Jr. A team in the OJHL.
Christien played at the Junior A, Major Junior and Minor Pro levels before he began coaching. For the past 13 years he has coached at the AAA, High School and College Club levels. Christien has also worked as the Director of Hockey Operations for two AAA programs: the Green Bay Jr. Gamblers and Boston Jr. Blackhawks. In addition to coaching, he worked as a skating and skill development coach of youth hockey at the University of Notre Dame.
Jason coached in the 2015 Desert Cup where he led team CAN-AM to a Bronze medal. He played in the OHL for the London Knights, and since then he has been involved in Pro hockey as a player, coach, and mentor for over 14 years. He also works as a power skating technician and conditioning coach at all levels from the minors to the pros.
